The Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC), in partnership with the American Institute for Yemeni Studies (AIYS), is eager to support scholars, institutions, and organizations involved in efforts to safeguard, document, and preserve cultural heritage sites and collections within Yemen that are under immediate or urgent threat due to the effects of the ongoing conflict. This program is made possible through the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH) and the J.M. Kaplan Responsive Preservation Initiative.
Through this call for proposals, CAORC will identify potential project partners that could benefit from modest awards to help improve the security, safety, and preservation of at risk sites, collections, or traditions in the country. The program welcomes applications from cultural heritage professionals (individuals, teams, or organizations) involved in the preservation of threatened sites, collections, and/or cultural traditions in Yemen. All awarded projects must demonstrate the approval and support of the relevant local authorities engaged in cultural heritage protection.

ﯾﺳﻌﻰ اﻟﻣﺟﻠس اﻷﻣﯾرﻛﻲ ﻟﻣراﻛز اﻟدراﺳﺎت ﻓﻲ اﻟﺧﺎرج ﺟﺎهداً ﻟدﻋم اﻟﺑﺎﺣﺛﯾن, اﻟﻣؤﺳﺳﺎت, واﻟﻣﻧظﻣﺎت اﻟﻣﻌﻧﯾﺔ اﻟﺗﻲ ﺗﺑذل ﺟﮭوداً ﻹﻧﻘﺎذ وﺗوﺛﯾﻖ وﺣﻣﺎﯾﺔ ﻣواﻗﻊ اﻟﻣوروث اﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﻲ واﻟﻣﻘﺗﻧﯾﺎت اﻷﺛرﯾﺔ ﻓﻲ اﻟﯾﻣن اﻟﻣﻌرﺿﺔ ﻟﺧطر ﻣﺣدق ﺑﮭﺎ او وﺷﯾك ﻧﺗﯾﺟﺔ ﻟﻠﺻراع اﻟﻣﺳﻠﺢ اﻟداﺋر ﺣﺎﻟﯾﺎ ﻓﻲ اليمن.
ﻣن ﺧﻼل هذه اﻟدﻋوة يشجع المجلس حميع المهتمين ﻟﺗﻘدﯾم ﺗﺻورات لمشروع محتمل للمنافسة على فرصة الاستفادة ﻣن ﻣﻧﺢ ﻣﺎﻟﯾﺔ ﻣﺗواﺿﻌﺔ لتمويل مشاريع ﻟﺗﺣﺳﯾن ﺳﻼﻣﺔ وأﻣن و ﺣﻔظ اﻟﻣواﻗﻊ واﻟﻣﻘﺗﻧﯾﺎت اﻷﺛرﯾﺔ أو اﻟﻣوروث اﻟﺛﻘﺎﻓﻲ اﻟﻣﻌرﺿﺔ ﻟﻠﺧطر ﻓﻲ اﻟﺑﻠد.
ﯾرﺣب ﺑرﻧﺎﻣﺞ اﻟﻣﺟﻠس اﻷﻣﯾرﻛﻲ ﻟﻣراﻛز اﻟدراﺳﺎت ﻓﻲ اﻟﺧﺎرج ﺑﺗﻘدﯾم طﻠﺑﺎت ﺗﻣوﯾل اﻟﻣﺷﺎرﯾﻊ ﻣن اﻟﻣﮭﻧﯾﯾن اﻟﻣﺣﺗرﻓﯾن اﻟﻣﻌﻧﯾﯾن ﺑﺎﻟﻣوروث الثقافي، اﻟﻣﻧظﻣﺎت ﻏﯾر اﻟرﺑﺣﯾﺔ, و وزارت وھﯾﺋﺎت اﻟﺣﻛوﻣﺔ اﻟوطﻧﯾﺔ.
