It will feature the following speakers:
• Amatalim Al-Soswa, former Minister of Human Rights and MD of the Executive Bureau on Aid Reforms, Co-editor of forthcoming book on the Future of Yemen.
• Rt Hon Alistair Burt, former Middle East Minister at the Foreign Office. Few understand better the dilemmas facing British foreign policy in the Yemen and the scope for change.
• Jonathan Powell, CEO Inter-Mediate, headed the Northern Ireland peace talks for Britain, which led to the Good Friday Agreement and power-sharing devolved government in Northern Ireland.
• Dr Abdulghani Al-Iryani, now with the Sana’a Centre for Strategic Studies, one of Yemen’s most experienced and respected political and development analysts, Researcher on conflict resolution, governance, state building and constitutional reform.
