The picture above was taken in 1987 in Zabīd and shows (starting from the right): ‘Abd al-Karīm al-Sālimī, director of antiquities in Zabīd, Qādī Ismā‘īl and Noha Sadek, who wrote her Ph.D. dissertation (University of Toronto) on the architecture of the Rasulids. Noha is an honorary member of AIYS and has served as Resident Director in Yemen for AIYS.
