There is an informative Youtube video on ceramics from Yemen that also discusses the location of Yemen with a brief description. Most of the information is regarding archaeological fieldwork in Zabid, so it is especially rich for the Rasulid era. Notice the number of sherds for the old port of Ghulayfiqah, which served Zabid.
