The American Institute for Yemeni Studies is hosting the first Members Only Webinar on April 26th, 2023. Join us for a panel of 5 incredible scholars with diverse experiences in their research and teaching centered around Yemen. In this roundtable webinar we will hear how Yemen has been integrated into an expanded global vision of the university-level art history survey, how different ways of knowing informed archaeology in the Hadhramawt and in the classroom, and how educational work has been carried out in Yemen both before and through the ongoing present war with perspectives from a rural literacy program for women and the urgent and catastrophic conditions facing university professors and academics in Yemen today.
