About F-PAD: Foreign Photo-Archive Database

Ultimately the Foreign Photo-Archive Database will contain bibliographic records and graphical images for the most important photographs from the various photo archives of the American Overseas Research Centers, representing up to a million unique photos. Presently, over 125,000 photographs from the American Institute of Indian Studies, Center for Art and Archaeology (AIIS-CAA) in Gurgaon, India are available online. These images are made available through the DLIR's partnership with the Digital South Asia Library.
