IRPAC: International Research Public Access Catalog

This database serves as the central web based union catalog for all of the American Overseas Research Centers. Housed and maintained by the University of Utah's Marriott Library, it contains bibliographic records for most of the monographs, dissertations and journal titles in the American Overseas Research Center (AORC) libraries, which presently constitute over 422,000 titles. With steady contributions of new bibliographic data, the database continues to grow at a rapid pace. Original and copy cataloging for the database has been provided through collaboration with the University of Utah Libraries, Columbia University Libraries, the Center for Research Libraries, and the Center for South Asia Libraries (Roja Muthiah Research Library, Chennai), as well as contract cataloging from a number of commercial sources.
